It is better to prevent than to heal

The Hippocratic Oath says that it is better to prevent disease than to heal it and you know there is a point in this expression. Well, you can’t call pregnancy a disease but still if think about is as about the problem for people it is really better to prevent it than to heal it. Today medicine provides us with everything we need to be safe and to be protected from a number of medical troubles and unwilling pregnancy is not an exception. All one has to do is to use protection in order to prevent pregnancy. People have a lot of stuff to do that and they only have to make a choice about which one protection is the best for them and things will be okay. They can use condoms or they can use pills and in this case they will never face the necessity to make up their minds about whether to keep a baby or to get rid of it. It is not that easy to make this choice and so people should think twice before they are going to have unprotected sex. Anyway, if using pills it is better to consult a doctor first.

Ask religion

In case you need an answer for the question about abortion you can ask millions of people or in case you do believe in God you can ask religion about it. Though, there is not the only one religion n the world there are a lot of those and so there are different religious points of view to this question. If dealing with two the most popular and the greatest religions of the world we are dealing with Christianity and Islam. As for the Christianity things are clear here and there is no such a word or sentence in the holy Bible that would speak for abortions. It is a murder according to Bible and so it is a sin and it is a deadly sin. Though, things are different when talking about Islam. Muslim people are against abortions too just like the most of people in the world. But still Koran says that it is okay to get rid of baby in case it is no older than a couple weeks. So, the point of view of Islam to this problem is almost like the point of view of modern medicine. It is up to person anyway what to do with a baby inside.

The Abortion Debate: Morality and Rights

To many, abortion is a kind of no man’s land when it comes to polite conversation. It seems difficult to find common ground on the topic of abortion, between pro-life and pro-choice. The issue of abortion can inspire a great deal of passion and a serious block to open exchange of ideas. However, abortion may be a more complex issue than many are willing to admit.

One difficult inherent in the abortion debate is that those who are pro-choice and those who are pro-life are often arguing about entirely different subjects. Supporters of abortion rights generally base their position on the rights of a woman over her own body, while pro-life believers focus their opinions on the morality of the act of abortion itself.

There is still some common ground. In cases of rape or danger to the mother, the moral analysis of abortion may be more bendable. Those who are pro-choice may often understand a personal rejection of abortion as respectable. In too many instances, women may not have control over their own bodies or reproductive choices, and abortion can be a viable solution. Not many would recommend using abortion simply as birth control, with a lack of feeling or responsibility. Although the debate may be presented as a black or white issue, the discussion of abortion must include a great deal of gray area. There is rarely a simple answer for anyone, and abortion rights are not necessarily a flippant disregard for life, but giving women choices and control over their own bodies.

Abortion Rights

The abortion rights councils and the women’s rights councils have been squaring off for decades over a woman’s right to have an abortion. It is a curious argument, that anyone would want the government interfering with anyone’s body. The right of the unborn is a totally different subject because medical science has determined that a viable fetus can be counted after five months. Until that time, medical science won’t recognize a fetus as a person. I suppose it is fair to say that under other circumstances the mother bonds with the fetus much earlier than five months, and movement can be felt earlier, but medical science has narrowed it down to realistic time frame based on realistic, not emotional, evidence.

In the world that we live in we value our privacy as we value our ability to decide what to do each and every day with our own body. We take that body to work, we choose whether or not to feed it breakfast, and we decide whether we are truly ready to bring new life into the world. When you force a woman to carry to term you change her body, you “scar” her in sense even if she doesn’t keep the baby. She will always carry the physical reminders, have to explain to physical lovers, and look at the physical evidence every day of her life that her body for nine grueling months belonged to the government. We wouldn’t ask her to surrender her body for cancer, for contagious diseases, and certainly not even for HIV. So why would we expect her to surrender her body to the government for the purpose of avoiding an abortion, the most private and personal choice that could ever be made?

Fear of abortion

Many young girls don’t understand what abortion is. They often underestimate its threats. They fail to practice safe sex because they think that everything will be ok per se. The majority of girls have a very obscure understanding of the whole seriousness of the problem.  They are too light-hearted and shallow-minded and this is often the main reason of all their problems. They easily fall in love, they easily make mistakes as well. They rely on those boys, who are absolutely unreliable. These boys don’t think much about the consequences of unsafe sex as it is not a problem for them. Girls are very often romantic and think about people much better than they are in reality. Girls fail to understand the real intentions of all those rogues, which they meet. These rogues take an advantage of girls’ stupidity and trustfulness and do their part. This leads inevitably to abortions as at a young age it is very easy to become pregnant. Girls try not to think about bad things and when they face the stark reality of life, they can’t cope with this situation and make more mistakes. At first, they decide not to tell it to their mothers. Then they can’t hide this any more as the fact of their pregnancy becomes discernable. When the belly is large, it is tool late to make an abortion. I think that our society should be more tolerant to these girls, as the fact that they are blamed by our society aggravates their situation. these girls are not villains, they are victims.
